The Symposium is open to major stakeholders in the anti-doping movement including: 

  • International Federations (IFs)
  • National Anti-Doping Organizations (NADOs)
  • Regional Anti-Doping Organizations (RADOs)
  • National Olympic Committees (NOCs) – only from countries where there is no NADO or where the NOC is actively involved in anti-doping
  • Major Event Organizations (MEOs) 
  • Athlete representatives
  • Sample collection agencies and related anti-doping service providers
  • WADA-accredited laboratories and members of the WADA Laboratory Expert Group
  • Government representatives involved in anti-doping matters
  • Anti-Doping Researchers
  • Media – on Day 1 only

A maximum of two people per code signatory can register for free. A fee will be requested for any additional or late registration.


All sessions will be conducted in English, and/or French. Simultaneous interpretation in English, French and Spanish will be available throughout the Symposium.
When registering online, participants will be asked to select their preferred language (English, French or Spanish) for Symposium participation (Sessions) and for the materials (English or French).


Participants will receive their accreditation upon their arrival at the Symposium venue.

Please note that, in an effort to limit the amount of papers printed for this Symposium, the final programme and list of participants will not be handed out. The final programme and list of participants will be available to all registered participants through the Symposium’s dedicated mobile app. Please note that the list of participants will not be accessible to media reps.

Your accreditation will be waiting for you at the registration desk, located on the ground floor of the STCC. The registration desk will be open:

Wednesday, 13 March from 8:00 to 17:00; and
Thursday, 14 March from 8:00 to 16:00.

We ask that you wear your accreditation badge at all times while attending the symposium, as it will give you access to the sessions you selected as well as the welcome cocktail.


Following the Symposium, participants will have access on the website to the PowerPoint presentations and documents presented.

Meals & Cocktail

On each day of the Symposium, WADA will offer registered participants coffee/tea breaks and lunch.

Immediately following the end of Day 1, on 13 March 2019, a Welcome Cocktail will be offered to all participants at the Symposium venue. As in previous years, this is a great networking opportunity.
